The heritage walk-up apartment located in the up and coming area of Joo Chiat, Singapore, has embraced timeless principles of interior design melded with modern luxury.
Inside the Kitchen
The unexpected approach of mixing finishing and materials – high chromed metal, touches of brass, accents of matt black, exposed brickwork, natural tones of wood, exclusive marble and luxurious leather, that are of seemingly conflicting nature results in a surprisingly complementary aesthetic that evokes the warmth of a lived-in space.
With a deliberately unfinished look, the space suggests a work-in-progress typology that invites its dwellers to be part of the narrative.
